Let's Make Bracelets With Rainbow Bandz

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

If you're like most parents, you're starting to think about ways to keep your kids entertained this summer.  I saw a really cute "end of school year" bucket gift idea recently, and these would be a perfect addition to one!

I received a generous package of refill bands from Rainbow Bandz for review purposes.  These bands work with all loom systems, including Rainbow Loom.

Brianna immediately got to work creating bracelets!  Personally, I like the watermelon one with the pony bead seeds.

Well, you know how it is.  Monkey see, monkey do, right?

Before long, Hannah was making bracelets, too.

Once Brianna showed her how to do it, she had no problems making bracelets all by herself.

I don't know why I keep thinking she's going to need help with things.  She's a master at proving me wrong.

Brianna assisted her with the clasp part, but given time, I'm sure she'll find a way to do that on her own, too.

She's so proud of herself!

Brianna was flapping her hands back and forth, making fish faces.  Notice the flower rings she made?

Katie was interested in what the big girls were doing, and spent some time sorting bands by color and wearing bracelets that Brianna made.

Bri used my phone to look up more and more intricate bracelet ideas and tutorials on You Tube.  She also started a Rainbow Bandz board on Pinterest.

I imagine this will provide many hours of entertainment for the kids this summer.

Brianna really liked that the Rainbow Bandz refill packs include a hook and several clasps inside each color package.  This means we have enough hooks for everybody to use at the same time.

The one minor thing we noticed about these bands was that some of them needed to be separated (no big deal) and occasionally we found one that did not get sliced correctly.  Overall, however, we were very pleased with Rainbow Bandz.

Brianna, Eli, and Hannah made all these bracelets and necklaces, and they still have plenty of Rainbow Bandz left.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
