Homeschool Weekly Wrap Up #9

With one day at the pumpkin patch, and one sick day, there's not as much "homeschool" to show off as usual.  But I made up for it with a few pictures of Katie & Luke at the end.

We did an activity this week that involved putting GLITTER GLUE on the kids' hands and then reading for a while.

"Mom, what are we doing??"

"I can't knit with this stuff on!"

Fortunately, after shaking hands with each other and discussing the various ways GERMS are spread, we had a hand washing party in Mommy's bathroom.

Every time my kids see glitter, they're going to think, "Germs!  Must wash!"

Just in case you thought our family was calm, quiet and peaceful.

It's not.

I've got to say, I'm having fun with our wellness curriculum.

And we almost had fun with a new keyboard!

As Josiah was unpackaging it, the other kids were

getting into mischief.

What could go wrong here???

Uh oh!  Turns out this keyboard had a couple of keys popped UP, so we had to swap it for another one.  I had to tape the heck out of the boxes to send it back.  Destructive little stair-surfing varmints.  The replacement keyboard arrived Thursday, and we've since been treated to a cacophony of talented "performances" by pretty much everybody in the house.

In other news this week, our household has a cold.  It seems to have hit Luke first, but it's making the rounds.  The good news is, it seems to be short lived.  J only had it for 2 days.

Remember the balance and marbles from last week?  We are still having lots of fun playing with those.

Even the big kids.

Also not homeschool related, but we finally got the outlet cover over the lamp cord in the panda room, so Katie has started sleeping in her big girl bed!

This is her night time brace, which I occasionally hear clunking against the wall.

Is she not insanely precious?  Every time I hold her, I just want to nibble on her!

And a shot of Lukey, just because he was watching me take pictures of Katie sleeping like, "What's so interesting about that??"
